Nella vastità dell’architettura come impatto dell’abitato storico e culturale dell’evoluzione fenomenologica del tempo, presso Palazzo Grassi, si svolge la mostra urbanologica, curata da Matthieu Humery con le fotografie di Mario Peliti: Venice Urban Project.
Dall’etimologia del titolo “hyper”, che in italiano significa “al di sopra”, o “al di là”, in questa esposizione si portano in rassegna riflessioni fotografiche che si prefissano di investigare l’ossessione prospettica del paesaggio urbano svincolandolo, però, da ogni presenza umana.
Peliti infatti, dal 2006, porta avanti il progetto Venice Urban Photo Project riuscendo ad inquadrare rigorismi formali che potremmo rintracciarli tra le campagne fotografiche di Charles Marville e Carlo Naya. Oltre 12.000 immagini sono state scattate in bianco e nero e sorprende il visitatore la scenografica “Mappa”, ispirata alla veduta d’uccello eseguita in prospettiva “Venetie MD” di Jacopo de’ Barbari (1500).
Micromosaici fotografici che si intersecano in piccole microvisioni che possono essere viste, avvicinandosi alla totalità della composizione, nel dettaglio.
Fortemente sinestetica, lenta e geomorfa si rivela invece la proiezione intitolata “L’andatura di di Hypervenezia - Esterno/Strada/Giorno”,un trittico ripartito su tre schermi che scorrendo in dissolvenza scuote la meditazione contemplativa del fruitore grazie alle musiche di Nicolas Godin (membro del duo francese Air e nume tutelare del “French touch”, il testo di Sébastien Peretto recitato con la voce di Alan Cox, per le Editions Musicales NCLS (2021).

The urbanological exhibition curated by Matthieu Humery with photographs by Mario Peliti: Venice Urban Project takes place at Palazzo Grassi in the vastness of architecture as an impact of the historical and cultural settlement of the phenomenological evolution of the time.
From the etymology of the title "hyper", which in Italian means "above", or beyond ", this exhibition brings together photographic reflections that aim to investigate the perspective obsession of the urban landscape, freeing it, however, from every human presence.
In fact, since 2006, Peliti has been carrying out the Venice Urban Photo Project, managing to frame formal rigorisms that can be traced back to the photographic campaigns of Charles Marville and Carlo Naya. Over 12,000 images were shot in black and white and the spectacular "Map", inspired by the bird view performed in perspective "Venetie MD" by Jacopo de' Barbari (1500), surprises the visitor.
Photographic micromosaics that intersect in small microvisions that can be seen, approaching the totality of the composition, in detail.
Strongly synaesthetic, slow and geomorphic, however, the projection entitled "L'andatura di Hypervenezia - Exterior / Street / Day" reveals itself, a triptych spread over three screens that, fading, shake the contemplative meditation of the viewer, the music of Nicolas Godin (member by the French duo Air and tutelary deity of the “French touch”, the text by Sébastien Peretto recited with the voice of Alan Cox, for Editions Musicales NCLS (2021).
